Founded in 2017

Triplett Services LLC was founded in 2017 by Clif Triplett after he left his senior executive service role in the Obama Administration. He served the Obama Administration as the Presidential Executive Fellow for Cybersecurity and Information Technology. After the major Office of Personnel Management (OPM) breach, the Administration had great concern the breach was merely a symptom of a much larger risk. He was asked to not only lead the mitigation of cybersecurity risk at OPM, but look across the Executive Branch of agencies and departments for the root causes that led to this incident. Upon identifying issues, he was then chartered to lead remediation.

It was his prior experience that had the Obama Administration had sought his expertise. The US Government is a huge bureaucratic entity that needed change, and with a sense of urgency. Clif had time and again demonstrated his ability to drive such change. Most notable was his role at standardizing GM manufacturing and quality processes and technology on a global scale, starting with 600 plants across 60 plus countries, each operating independently. He was also given a transformation challenge at Motorola where he was asked to carve out and structure a $4 billion global services business. His ability to reshape the way an enterprise had worked for years and migrate them to a new operating model then led him to Baker Hughes where he was asked to move them from a product centric culture and operating model to a customer centric model.

His success in assisting large enterprises in achieving successful and sustainable change can in great part be attributable to the many leadership and technology lessons learned following his graduation from the US Military Academy at West Point, and his time as an officer in the US Army and Joint Staff.

He has demonstrated an ability to teach and inspire teams to achieve their full potential. Time and time again his teams have earned great recognition and businesses the value of their capabilities..

He now serves as President of Triplett Services LLC, and personally takes accountability for the success of the consulting teams Triplett Services supports.
